As the cold and the late winter rain continue to cover the city, Johannesburg audiences can look forward to Thursday evenings at The Linder Auditorium.
The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO) Winter Symphony Season runs from Thursday 1 to Thursday 22 June at the Linder, featuring performances by accomplished international soloists Emanuil Ivanov (piano), Yeon-Min Park (piano), Rosanne Phillipens (violin) and Maria du Toit (clarinet).
In addition to two of the JPO’s favourite conductors, Daniel Boico and Bernhard Gueller, they’ve also invited the Japanese maestro Yasuo Shinozaki back, and have invited Polish conductor Ms Anna Sulkowska-Migon who will have her debut performance with the JPO this Winter Season.
