Collectors and art-enthusiasts alike can now browse the works of contemporary South African artists online through TAF Paper.
Launched in 2020 by Turbine Art Fair (TAF), Paper is a series of contemporary artworks on paper by independent artists from Southern Africa. TAF invited artists who are currently not represented by a gallery to submit unframed works on paper for consideration and the selected works are shown in a dedicated online viewing room on the TAF website and in pop-up exhibitions in Johannesburg, year-round.
In addition to their aims of providing support for independent artists, all works are priced below R5000, as TAF Paper aims to attract and grow a new wave of young collectors who are interested in starting contemporary collections of their own.
