During the evenings of Friday the 11th of March and Saturday, 12th March, RMB will once again present you with a light classical concert under the stars, better known as Starlight Classics. Rand Merchant Bank’s VIP guests will receive a picnic basket filled with treats for the evening as well as a copy of Creative Feel‘s upcoming March issue – the only magazine which has been carefully selected for guests. That’s just the tip of the iceberg…
The line-up includes a range of South African powerhouses; musical icon and world-renowned trumpeter, composer and singer Hugh Masekela, internationally acclaimed South African born soprano, Pretty Yende as well as an exclusive performance from the founder of the prestigious Vuyani Dance Company, Gregory Maqoma.
This Afrosymphonic programme will be complemented by other exciting performers and the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra.
The environment? A breathtaking Vergelegen Wine Estate which boasts a proud history extending over 300 years. Playing host to a number of other annual events such as “Carols By Candlelight” and “Mining Indaba Dinner”, Vergelegen has carefully conserved items of heritage that formed the foundation of Cape Culture in South Africa.

Duration: 3 hours, including 20 minute interval
Refreshments: Wine, cheese and coffee available on sale at the venue.
Prohibited: Firearms, tables, high chairs, drugs, weapons and recording equipment.
Allowed: Cameras, blankets, picnic baskets and low chairs.
Disabled Facilities: Venue has toilet facilities and a special parking area for disabled patrons.
Parking: Free parking on the Erinvale field off Lourensford Road.
