Gauteng Opera’s Forté presents a Christmas Dinner Concert at Laughing Chefs Restaurant on Friday, 21 November 2014. An evening where patrons and guests can indulge in the soothing sounds of Forté with a programme that will definitely bring out the Christmas Spirit in every listener. The programme will include beautiful songs such as It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Mistletoe and wine, White Christmas and Ding-dong merrily on high.
The festive menu for this dinner concert will consist of the starter; Prawns with a baked feta parcel and citrus butter, followed by Chicken and turkey pie roulade with berry gravy, crushed baby potato chips, buttered ginger carrots and snap peas as the main course and certainly not the least, dessert will be a Christmas surprise.
Performing on the night are the fabulous four from Forté: Khumbuzile Dhlamini (soprano), Annemarie Steenkamp (mezzo-soprano), Phenye Modiane (tenor), Kagiso Boroko (tenor), accompanied by acclaimed pianist Paul Ferreira.
