The ticket system is a new system that will be implemented to ensure your experience at Splashy Fen is that much better. The system ensures that all people on site have an access bangle that is linked to their ID number for easy identification and control. Organizers have implemented this system to ensure a better security and safety plan for the 2016 festival.
One of the key new features at Splashy fen will be the new ticket collection process. In the interest of a smooth operation at the festival entrance gates, and to increase safety and security, all tickets need to be validated and access bangles collected prior to arriving on site. Every ticket needs to have a name, surname & ID number attached to it. NO ACCESS BANDS WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION in the form of an ID book or driver’s license. This will take place at the Underberg (Venue TBC) during the following times:
Wednesday 23rd March: 13h00 – 17h00
Thursday 24th March: 07h00 – 20h00
Friday 25th March: 07h00 – 20h00
Saturday 26th March: 08h00 – 18h00
Sunday 27th March: 08h00 – 14h00
NO BANGLE NO ACCESS. You have to validate your ticket and get your access bangle issued at the Underberg Country Club as you make your way through to Splashy Fen.
GPS Co-Ordinates: 29deg47’46”S ; 29deg20’33”E
Take the Underberg off-ramp from the N3 whether coming from JHB or DBN. Travel through to Underberg and stop at the Underberg Country Club to validate your ticket and get your access bangles. Once you have completed this process, travel through Underberg on the road towards Kokstad, and once you cross the Umzimkulu River, turn right onto the Bushman’s Nek road. Travel 13km and follow the Otter to Splashy Fen farm.
