Think sculpture, think casting, think mould-making, then come and explore a three-day workshop on mould-making and casting techniques.
The Bag Factory is thrilled to present a sculpture workshop facilitated by Levester Williams funded by the National Lotteries Commission. The workshop will emphasise hand skills, safe process and accuracy. The moulding technique will cover one-piece moulds, multi-piece moulds and flexible moulds. Materials will include plaster, foam, rubber, burlap, and resin. The content is applicable to both utilitarian and non-utilitarian forms from simple to complex configurations, including, but not limited to reproducing prototypes, furniture, sculpture and architectural elements. This is a perfect workshop for complete beginners who wish to learn new skills and for artists who wish to reinvigorate their love of the 3 dimensional. The workshop will include materials and catering. The Bag Factory is also awarding 5 bursaries for this workshop, to stand a chance simply email a motivational letter to firstname.lastname@example.org
