The Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) and UJ Arts & Culture invite expressions of interest to partner and/or present papers at the ACT | UJ Conference in March 2016.
The 4th edition of the conference, entitled, #creativeintersections – an interactive experience, will be presented at the UJ Arts Centre at the University of Johannesburg on the 16th and 17th of March 2016. The conference will explore the creative industry and creativity by stimulating thought across different disciplinary boundaries.
“At ACT we see more and more artists be partial to interdisciplinarity when it comes to their creative production. This concept, however far from new, presents vast potential for other areas of creative practice too,” remarks Pieter Jacobs, CEO of ACT.
The conference organisers invite proposals of innovative creative and business case studies and research that demonstrate the potential interdisciplinary activity holds for online publication during the #creativeintersections conference. For more information and to submit a proposal online follow this link:
Preliminary submissions are due by Monday, 7 December 2015. Successful applicants will be contacted via email by Monday 11 January 2016 and then final submissions are to be made by Monday 8 February 2016.
Peer agencies and organisations that specifically work in this area are also invited to approach the Arts & Culture Trust with proposals aimed at offering delegates deliberate value within this context. Interested parties should send an email to email@example.com with #creativeintersections 2016 in the subject line by no later than 11 January 2016.
